Coordinating the creation of Baton Rouge's next premier destination

Our firm is currently one of the lead firms assisting Pinnacle Entertainment Group’s development of a high-profile new gaming site on River Road in Baton Rouge.  The massive project not only involves the site design, but takes into account current and future needs of the area regarding utilities, infrastructure, roads, site circulation, parking, and necessary riverfront stabilization design. 

For the site itself, ABMB assisted the process by securing the rezoning of the area to a Planned Unit Development (PUD), coordinated with the Army Corps of Engineers to gain approval on all levee-related improvements and design of the basin for the floating casino, created the master site plan, and designed access, site circulation, parking, and utility infrastructure.

In addition, ABMB also prepared all plans for off-site improvements designed to mitigate traffic impacts.  These include several roadway improvements at various intersections, signal timings and the realignment of River Road.

ABMB will be assisting Pinnacle throughout with construction administration and bidding and negotiation support. Phase I is expected to be completed for opening by 2012.
